Meet Our Team

Rebecca Sigety

Artistic Director

Rebecca is the Founder and Artistic Director of DramaWorks. She is a seasoned actress, director, and teacher from Atlanta, Georgia. With a true passion for the arts, Rebecca has made it her personal goal to promote Arts Education in her daily life. Rebecca began her study of acting at age 13 in a five year intensive acting program with The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta. She continued her theater studies in college, culminating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, concentrating in Directing and Dramatic Literature, from the College of Arts and Humanities at

Christopher Newport University.
Rebecca has spent the past 10 years pursuing her passions, directing and teaching Theater and Music in both Fairfax and Loudoun County Public and Private schools. Outside of DramaWorks, Rebecca runs a wedding, portrait and headshot photography business, loves to cook, and travels the world. She hopes to continue the spread of DramaWorks around the Northern Virginia area and continue to provide opportunities in the arts to
children of all abilities.

Erica Donovan

Choreography Director

Erica has been dancing and performing since she was 3 years old and hasn't stopped since. Growing up she participated in community dance, voice, and theatre performances. Erica  has an extensive background in ballet, pointe, jazz, and musical theatre,  participating in shows such as Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls. She  studied Music Education at Milligan College in Tennessee and Early Child Education at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.  Erica came to Virginia from Atlanta, Georgia  as a professional dance teacher, choreographer, and Assistant Director. Soon after moving to Virginia, Erica began teaching dance in the metro DC area. She has taught dance to the littlest of dancers up to those heading off to college.

Julie Johnston

Vocal Director

Julie has been involved in some aspect of performing since she was 6 years old when she appeared in her first musical. She has been hooked ever since. Growing up in Southern California, she was involved in children's theater, adult community theater and then moved into a career in advertising after graduating from Pepperdine University.  Julie has seen the absolute benefit in exposing kids to the arts.  With years of voice and acting classes under her belt she knows how to get kids to come out of their shell & develop confidence in front of an audience. She privately teaches public speaking and voiceover classes, where she helps people find their voices and develop their characters.  She also ensures everyone leaves knowing how to make eye contact and give a firm handshake, priceless life skills.  Julie is a mother of two young girls and works as a professional voiceover artist in addition to her full time job as Vice President of People for Go West Creative.  Julie is thrilled to take some time away from her job to follow her heart and share her passion for performing.
