Artistic Director: Rebecca Sigety

Rebecca Sigety is the founder and Artistic Director of DramaWorks LLC. A seasoned actress, director, and teacher from Atlanta, Georgia, Rebecca's true passion for the arts developed at a young age. Now, as an adult, she has made it her personal goal to promote Arts Education in her daily life.

Rebecca began her study of acting at age 13 in a five year intensive acting program with The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta. Rebecca continued her theater studies in college culminating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (Directing) from the College of Arts and Humanities at Christopher Newport University.

Rebecca’s performance credits range from stage to film with roles on Blue Collar TV, a Chick-fil-a commercial and performances at The Alliance and Horizon theaters in Atlanta, GA.

Now a Virginia resident, Rebecca has transitioned her love for the stage to teaching and directing children, hoping to inspire them with the same love for the arts that her teachers did for her. She has directed several shows including her current work, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as Peter Pan Jr., Annie Jr., Seussical Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., and The Snow Queen, to name just a few.

Rebecca hopes to continue her journey on the stage and behind the scenes as she spreads the important message of an Arts Education with everyone she meets.

Julie has been involved in some aspect of performing since she was 6 years old when she appeared in her first musical. She has been hooked ever since. Growing up in Southern California, she was involved in children's theater, adult community theater and then moved into a career in advertising after graduating from Pepperdine University.  Julie has seen the absolute benefit in exposing kids to the arts.  With years of voice and acting classes under her belt she knows how to get kids to come out of their shell & develop confidence in front of an audience. She privately teaches public speaking and voiceover classes, where she helps people find their voices and develop their characters.  She also ensures everyone leaves knowing how to make eye contact and give a firm handshake, priceless life skills.  Julie is a mother of two young girls and works as a professional voiceover artist in addition to her full time job as Vice President of People for Go West Creative.  Julie is thrilled to take some time away from her job to follow her heart and share her passion for performing.

"My three daughters have participated in multiple stage productions and drama classes with DramaWorks over the last four years, and are now hooked on the dramatic arts and Rebecca Sigety herself! As Artistic Director, Rebecca creates a uniquely supportive, structured but playful environment in which each child—young or old, experienced or beginner—grows in ability and confidence. With so many options these days, I am eternally grateful to have found DramaWorks. They will carry the memories and skills they learned always."
